The subjects are place in a nice composition. The flowers are arranged beautifully.

I would have liked more color. Seems kind of flat. Also the reflective material in the cloth leads your eyes to it instead of the main subject. Maybe a narrower crop would help keep the interest there. I gave you a "7"

Greetings from the Critique Club: Something Old Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue...I appreciate the scene you set for this image. Using the blue netting to carry out the theme is very successful, it adds texture and just the right amount of color. The focus is crisp but the silver underlay that catches light in hotspots gets overpowering in the upper right corner. Perhaps that could have been pulled back and softened a bit. The composition overall is quite graceful and the hard lines of the shoe balance the softness of the roses. This composition also raises a question, however, and that is what is the mood or emotion that you wish to express? Is this a happy memory or a sad reminder, or is the shoe a different statement altogether? While I want an image to raise questions I would appreciate a bit more emotional direction, a little more clarity and intensity. Very interesting image and worth taking time to view.

The only thing I don't care for in this photo is the plastic (or vinyl or whatever it is) dropcloth you have under and behind your setting. The glare is distracting and steals away from the glow of the candle (which might look better sharpened). If the "something blue" is intended to be the netting over the plastic, it gets somewhat lost. I do like the concept and the lighting you chose.

Exudes elegance. The blue netting adds a touch of coolness.

the background attracts a lot of attention. Composition could have been a bit stronger, more outspoken. The rose, the candle and the shoe now all blend together.

Beautiful setup, wish the lightning was a little better, and you could have used some color adjustments on this one and put more blue color in it cause it looks a little to yellow, and mabey crop a little of the bottom out. Good luck :)

Good subject matter. I personally would like to have seen this cropped in tighter though. The light is a little harsh for such a reflective matterial and created a few hot spots. But other than that I like the idea.
