wow. a powerful image, nicely composed. exellent DOF and very sharp docus on the subject. the booze, pills and wrist slicing might be a bit of overkill, though.

I definitely feel depression from this photo, but not so much all alone. However, I'm not gonna rate this based on that.

On the good side, you have a nice drop coming down and a good angle on the subject.

Things to improve upon: glare on the wine bottle, the wine bottle stands upright while the meds have spilled, the 'blood' doesn't look like it's flowed naturally, and the shadow from the flash (perhaps use some side lighting or reflectors).

Overall, good idea and decent execution.

Nice image. The composition is well done and the depth of field works very well. The drop of blood really adds alot to the image. Powerful image. Good take on the callenge.

That drip of blood on the finger really makes this shot. If that bottle is White Zinfandel, I can understand why the subject wanted to kill themselves. ;) Nice use of DOF and very realistic looking.
