Katyby e10icusComment by spiritualspatula: Yup, nice big honkin' cicada. Most of the ones I get out here are tiny, about an inch long and they emerge in HORDES in the foothills and click (they don't buzz like most other species).
We also have the big ones occasionally. Animals seem to love to chow down on them, as well. |

shebaby e10icusComment by jomari: I'll bet you're wearing nearly as much fur as she is. She looks like a nice dog - I'm glad you took her in. You know, I used to always believe that untrusting dogs must have been abused, but our dog is very wary of strangers and she has always been treated well and with respect. She's never been exposed to adverse attention at all (unless you count vet exams). |
