could have put a little more work into it. at least make it so the hand isnt visible, it just takes all the attention away from the picture.

This certainly meets the âtextureâ part of the challenge, but, it could use a single point of interest to make good use of that interesting texture as background.

Daringly minimal photograph, and really won't do well here I'm afraid. I like your thinking though. That graining doesn't, however, register as a function of texture, perhaps because its so very fine - it reads more as eithe patterning or even possibly just digital noise. I certainly wouldn't have said it was paper without your title, I must say. Interestingly different submission though, thanks.
