She never speaks againby kinksComment: I'm pretty new here - are therea lot of these kinds of shots? I saw a thread on too many suicide pics?
Anyway, I scored this quite high, simply because of all the bold ideas which you "executed" rather well, IMO. A very shocking work, but creative. |

Another foggy morning by soccerdadComment: A lovely picture here, with a delicious contrast of colorful boat and gray water/fog.
There is something about the geometry of the objects, the land, the margins - the "feng shui?- which is not quite perfect to my jaundiced eye. I want to move that buoy! I'm sure it is just me, but I wanted to mention it, in case you felt it too.
Very strong score with me. :) |

Fallen Comradeby vmagic118Comment: Powerful idea here, and a strong image. Really good lighting. Do you think there would be more impact to the scene if the soldier's face was shown? Strong score from me. :) |

Where You Can Hear Yourself Think by dirtkahunaComment: Lovely effect and lighting here. GREAT mist! I like the idea a lot and I am a sucker for natural scenes, especially those with trees! :)
While I consider this to be one of the best photos in the entire challenge, there are two things that bother me about it - perhaps they are valid for you, too - they are personal taste.
First, the corn stub rows draw the eye away from the tree, which distracts a tad. Second, I prefer a landscape orientaion for shots of this nature - I can't get over the idea of something too close for comfort just out of sight - not enough feeling of space for a serene feeling. But that's just me. Paranoid:D
Anyway, really grand shot. |

Breathtaking Landscapeby instepsComment: By far the best cemetary scene in the challenge, and a fine photo in its own right. Wonderful perspective, both horiz and vert, with the eye moving with pleasure to take in the whole scene. I love the the simple, honest voice you use here. Really well done. |

Morning silence by carycComment: Lovely image of perfect serenity. Nice mist - pic would be even better if there was more - where is the giant portable mist machine when you need it? :D
This scores very highly with me. |

Silent roomby pikytoComment: What a bold idea, and a wonderful, stark image. Woody Allen would run screaming from his monitor! :D
Great idea, great image. Love to see this one where the subject is further away = more lonely?
Very high score with me. |
