Changing the angle of the shot would have included more of the kid, and would have gotten rid of the flash reflection.

The composition pulls the eye away from the horizon and draws attention to the sign. A few steps back and to the right might have improved the shot. 7 for focus, DOF and color.

You don't really need the alignment disk, unless you want other people to be able to ready your disks. I think I still have 8 inch disks with Wordstar and dBaseII.
