Stareby pipersdComment: Way to go with popping your eyes out and composing yourself...problem is the photo is extermly flat...to much grays and blacks, try to make your cheeks pop out by dodging them or something...or dodging your shirt. The photo just feels dead but you have a good idea on how to make it work. |

Sanctuaryby xianartComment: Its a nice photo because it tells a story about you. Its really pushing the idea of a self portrait to by adding a little bit of you in it, which is your eye. Which is really a special part of the body cause its through our eyes that we can make out what the world is, so would that make our eyes, who we are?
I don't know, but good use of putting yourself in the frame somewhere and having yourself stick out because of it. I just am not a big fan of the over-sharpening. Mainly because of my own reasons, but it is a good photo. |

My Favorite Placeby ColeyComment: Really nice...you have a lot of things popping out, like the hat and your face. Also how the background is outside is nice and how it works to help you, yourself pop out.
My one problem is that it looks like a myspace photo cause it looks like you just turned the camera around and took a photo of yourself.
The photo looks like it was processed very well though. |

Cherifficby smilebig4me1xComment: Nice crop of the fact and the face is lit very well. Try making the photo pop a little in photoshop not only in the eyes but in the lips and what she is wearing. |

Reflectingby russiansergeeComment: Cool idea for a portrait. But work on trying to make yourself stand out a little more. The photograph itself looks really flat and because of this, its not really popping out to me.
Either way, good idea. |

How long did I set the timer for?by benjamin7472Comment: really good. I like how everything works in the photograph with the DOF. Also how your eyes pop out and it does not look like it was photoshoped to pop out. My only problem is with the backdrop and how you can tell it is fabric. A good way to fix this is to use white seemless paper or really tightening the fabric out and taping it down.
Reguardless i think this is pretty good but could use some work. |

Not as Simple as B/Wby littlegettComment: i really feel like this does not feel like a 'true' portrait due to the fact of how your holding the ball...It would had been really cool without the ball and with just your face instead to tell the story. Because a good majority of the color is in that ball, you want to focus on that and also the fact that your holding it up and really close to your face. |

Mrs. Grinch's Christmas Cardby JuliBocComment: To be honest, Not really digging the bad photoshop...would had been cool if you had painted yourself and left the background looking normal. It gets across the idea in the photo, just i would never buy it or look at this again. |
