The Light Insideby xertionComment: That is a very surreal-looking shot. Interesting choice of colour, gives it a very abstract feel, which presumably is the point. I'm curious how you set this up. |

Last Callby mcmurmaComment: Wow, this could have come straight from an old movie or be the cover of an old mystery book. Where DID you find that phone? Very good shot, excellent colour choices. |

Portrait Of A Turretby LarsPaysenComment: The sky tone against the clouds is rather distracting, which detracts somewhat from the shot of the building itself. Looks a bit unnatural, like the building was placed against a different background. The angle on the building vs the lighting is, however, absolutely perfect. |

Modern Colonnadeby eloiseComment: A very good shot but subject matter doesn't grab me. I do like the angle that captures the lighting at the top, though. |

Rain in the Apple Orchardby PatztComment: Beautiful. A lovely choice of shade, looks natural even though the leaves are the 'wrong' colour. Nice angle and placement. |

Buckoby RLSComment: Very nice, gives a feel of being old naturally rather than deliberately shaded to look such. The border is slightly intrusive. |

Just Beyondby mbardeenComment: Looks completely natural in a duotone shading, very nice choice. I think maybe just a bit too much of the building on the left shows, as it tends to draw the eye away from the center. |

Berry Creek Fallsby afalconComment: This makes me want to see it in colour. The area is pretty, but it wouldn't have been my first choice for a B&W shot just for that reason. |

Through Rose Tinted Glassesby WesComment: Hrm. On the one hand, with a rose tint, I might have thought a less empty picture would have been better. On the other hand, the whole trope of rose-tinted glasses is that even something this lonely would look good -- and it does. Hard to decide how I feel about it. |

Gregg Mill Windowsby PaulkComment: Strange. The photo isn't crooked, but the building parts are. Must be an old building. Looks good with the tone chosen. |
