Copper bowlby BrennanOBComment: Lovely picture. Think that it would have looked a little more interesting with a greener blue colour (i.e. copper oxide) to add to the idea of the picture. |

Contained by metalby shetlandComment: Doesn't spell out the element (in fact probably isn't one on its own) but that doesn't matter as for me it is a great picture and idea for the challenge |

Tungsten: Out of the Blueby 777STANComment: I didn't enter the challenge because I couldn't find a clear tungsten bulb with the old style W shaped filaments, so for me its nice to see an alternative take on the W element, lovely idea and picture |

NAby scruffComment: I like the picture, but it makes be think of either sugar, salt, or snow. Obvious its a Na element picture, but just doesn't sound it out to me. In my opinion choosing salt is difficult to communicate one of its two elements, but you did a good effort and i'm sure it was a nice subject to photograph. |

Mercuryby libertyComment: Nice picture, great detail, but the thermometer is full of alcohol and not mercury... but, yes I'll say that thermometers do normally make me think of mercury. Actually choosing an alcohol thermometer makes the picture a lot more interesting with the striking colour, so I like it, well done. |
