Liquid Lavaby fotodudeComment: I like the colours and the effect; technically it̢۪s pretty good. Honestly though, there is just nothing in the photo that grabs you and makes you want to keep coming back I see this image as a stock picture, or even as a textured background |

Tales From The Cryptby rhipsterComment: Very ethereal. It’s so soft it almost looks like a painting, which is a nice effect. The black border I think is too dark and thick for such a soft light coloured picture. I’m also noticing that my eyes tend to travel all over and are not focusing on one particular spot – maybe there needs to be one element that stands out a bit more as a focal point. |

Sorry Ladies, You Must Be This Tall...by kdkaboomComment: This is a cute picture – for this challenge though I really think the statue is overshadowing the people as a subject. I think it’s hard to stand beside a 40-foot statue and stand out on your own merit. =) Also their faces are really not in focus, which would have brought more attention to them. |

If Looks could kill... (Young Dancers)by awpollardComment: Great job! Interesting subjects, and the focus is well done. The crop is a little tight and it would have been nice if the boy were looking at the camera just to add a little bit more impact. They are just minor suggestions though as I think this image is great as is. |

Johnby TallblokeComment: The lighting is perfect, the focus sharp, I don̢۪t know that I would change anything about this picture. I know not a very helpful comment, but I think you nailed it. |

train by day - sleigh by nightby vtruanComment: Great capture. I love the colours, focus, just about everything. The only thing I am debating with myself is if for this particular challenge, if I would have done a tighter crop to bring even more focus to the man. I̢۪d be curious to know if you though about cropping at all, or even tried a few different ones. |

Drunk Dave!by jmleliiComment: Well it̢۪s a person and it̢۪s amusing once, but as a picture you would go back to and look at again I don̢۪t see it. Unless of course you know drunk Dave and you want a laugh at his expense once he is sober. =) It meets the challenge but the long term appeal factor is very low. |

MN Governor Tim Pawlentyby JordanZComment: Two small changes I would have made. I would have removed the border I think it takes away from the image, and I would have done a slightly different crop. Cropping to his arm on the right to lose the majority of the black framework in the background and to place the subject slightly off center. Then cropping a sliver on the left just to eliminate the excess space after the podium ends. |

Weatheredby nico_blueComment: Great shot, very urban. Honestly, I would not change a thing this is a 10 in my opinion. |

Downtown Piperby artvetComment: Great capture, the composition is perfect. Is this a crop from a much larger image? The only reason I ask is there is a lot of noise. I think I would have ran this one through neat image (not something I normally suggest) on a very low setting to keep the grain but drop some of the noise. Other then that I think this is a great candid and perfect for this challenge |
