My Streetby LonzComment: This is the kind of image that tells me you've captured the "feel" of a place, that I am seeing it through the eyes of somebody who really knows it and for whom it is so familiar... |

A Primate's Stareby andrewtComment: One of the most expressive images in the challenge. The tiny bit of color adds a lot of impact to the image. Excellent study in raw emotions. |

Moonriseby Len ScapComment: The choice of placing the trees against the moon really sets this one apart from the other moon shots. Instantly reminded me on old horror movie posters, the elegant, "romantic" vampire version if you wish... 9 from me. |

And the dog bowl was bareby kashiComment: Hmmm.. almost missed the dog's reflection - it makes the photo, but it's very subtle. I wonder how many voters didn't spend enough time on the image to see it. |

Reflecting the Sunby maxxumgComment: Composition wise, it feels a bit incomplete with the bottom left corner leading the eye out of the image. Extra points for nailing a very difficult exposure though - great detail in the clouds, in the sun reflection, and even some detail salvaged in the water. |

narcissismby notesinstonesComment: I almost missed the message of your image, but the title brought me back... and a couple of extra points. |

uplightby bimbleComment: Very narrow aspect ratios always make me feel like it's a snapshot, a composition that you didn't intend, but rather stumbled upon in processing... |

The Empty Parkby scarab440Comment: I think the sky at the top is rather distracting and makes it hard to focus on the tree reflection; the image feels unbalanced. Also, the image could use some stronger blacks to "anchor" it. |

Rich Silenceby wildirisComment: Very good - the rock is actually the subject of your photo, although at first glance it's easiest to overlook! |
