It's a decent scene with smooth colors in the clouds and sky, but the composition does not work for me. The sun being blocked by the tree seems odd to me and that side of the image is fighting with those gorgeous clouds. Meanwhile, the lower left of the scene seems pretty bare and overpowered by the rest of the image.
A few feet to the right, with the whole scene framed by the overhanging tree branches, may have worked quite well. |

| The clouds are beautiful here. They're the main part with interest ... very strong and good. The rest of it seems a bit ordinary, even if it is a nice spot. |

| Composition wise, it feels a bit incomplete with the bottom left corner leading the eye out of the image. Extra points for nailing a very difficult exposure though - great detail in the clouds, in the sun reflection, and even some detail salvaged in the water. |

| Tweaking the image to make those cloud edges sing more would put a smile on my face. After their treatment the clouds might even show up a little as reflections in the water. |
