Well, i don't know what that thing is with all the little holes in it, but the scratches on it are very distracting. The composition is excellent and clean, well lit. But those scratches (or are they hairs?) distract from that atmosphere. Too bad. Good shot anyway!

Good composition. It looks like it was oversharpened though. Just for experimentation's sake, I wonder what a soft focus would look like. More saturation too in the blue channel. This would make an excellent colorful photo if the black areas were lighter and the colors popped more.

Doesn't meet challenge in my opinion. This is obviously an eyelash, cheek, and nose. Not abstract. Otherwise a technically well done photo.
