Field of Dreamsby anthonyczajaComment: In a color challenge it's a big risk to present a low-saturation image. But I really like the effect. Thanks for showing us something different. For creativity, subject, and location, I give a high rating. The composition feels a bit weak however. Perhaps there's too much negative space on the left. I still enjoy the image. |

Friends & Rememberanceby IronworkerComment: Hi, There, I've got this same camera and it really sucks with noise with anything over 1 second. The in-camera noise reduction filter does work pretty good though. I've played around with it a little bit. I can't remember where it is off the top of my head but it's not too hard to find. For images that have alot of noise, it takes 1 to 2 seconds longer to store the image, but it's worth it in a pinch. It works good in low light up to about 8 seconds, them it still leaves some noise behind... but it's still better than without it. |

Eye was framedby jdannelsComment: Excellent Shot! The only 10 I gave out as a matter of fact! I read your comments but got lost in the gray layer stuff. Would you consider posting a tutorial, it sounds very interesting! I'd love to learn the technique! |

Samplesby jonnieComment: This might sound weird, but I think if the image was rotated 90 so the in focus portion was at the lower left hand coner and the lines exploded up and to the right (instead of down and to the right), it would give more life to the image. Well, that speculation aside, I like the image but it could use some noise reduction. (or maybe it's the jpg quality?) |
