Ruffled Silkby MaryOComment: I love the gorgeous, rich purple petals against the dark green. I'm not too sure about the composition though, maybe a closer crop (macro) to see more of the petals velvety texture, would have been good. |

Etuis (nee Sows' Ears)by GeneralEComment: Gorgeous colours. I like the crop as well, just not too sure about the dark fabric in the bottom left corner. It does not look as 'silky smooth' as the other two. |

Smooth As....by cogeroxComment: There's no doubt the hand looks silky smooth but the photo disturbs me a little cos it kinda doesn't make sense. Never mind, I kinda like it. |

Pathby zaflaboutComment: Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! I love this photograph. It is normally quite difficult to get the exposure for this type of shot spot on, but IMO you have managed to do just that. There is detail in the foreground and the pillars are not overexposed either. The grain adds great detail to this shot and I love the way both the pillars and the lights are leading the figure in the direction of the square at the end. |

Grand Statueby mistyferieComment: The cross is placed too central within the photograph and the overall tones are a bit light. However, I like the subject matter and IMO would suggest the following, if you get the chance to photograph this again: get the camera really close to the ground and shoot upwards to include the canopies of the tall trees. Move the cross either to the left or right of the photo if you are going to keep it the same size, which I think is great as it would give the effect of the cross towering over the viewer. Or use rule of thirds to place it. |

Front Streetby charmayneComment: The grain really suits this type of photo and certainly adds to the impact. I love the vertical lines of the buildings behing the car. |

Muddy Watersby sherpetComment: I think this is a really great shot but I think it will look better with some of the empty sky cropped off the top. This will also move the horizon line away from the centre of the photo. Great colour and grain. |

Empire Sandy by StrikeslipComment: A lovely shot and I know you meant the horizon to be at that angle, but that is one thing I would change. The photo is striking enough without having to position it at an angle. The bow of the ship seems as though it is going to shoot right out of the frame and the ropes leading in from the bottom right take you straight to the subject. The lines, clouds, and moody grain in this photo are excellent. |

Landscapeby ustiebitzComment: I don't particularly like colour with grain, but this shot is pretty minimalist and works well. The grain especially adds to the mood of the layered silhouettes (spelling?) at the bottom of the photo. |
