This is such a wonderful peaceful place to be. It is my sisters backyard, at Brisbane Waters, at Koolewong, on the Central Coast of NSW, Australia. Her cottage has its own jetty, and this is one of the photos I took recently, when we stayed up there for the weekend, while in Sydney.

This photo has taken when the tide was low, and the water quite still. I had the camera set at 400 ISO, and took the image in the raw format. Processed it in photoshop, adding some noise, and used duotone in 'sepia' to give the effect I wanted in this grainy/noise seascape image.

I like the sepia color and enjoyed looking at this during the challenge. You did a good job of capturing the serenity of the moment.

Oh Shez! This is BEAUTIFUL! Highly underrated! The grain adds such a wonderful effect to this scene. This is truly beautiful and such a different look for you. My suggestion: do it more often :)

Nice use of the grain to give impact to the shore line...

A higher view point would have put the sailboat above the rail, now it's a litle bit obscured.

I think this is a really great shot but I think it will look better with some of the empty sky cropped off the top. This will also move the horizon line away from the centre of the photo. Great colour and grain.
