Very nice! I really like the cross-patterning. The cloud shadows add some contrast without being overbearing. There is just enough sky to tell us about all the clouds, but you didn't let them be the story. You even got a house on a "thirds" spot :-) Excellent shot!

I really like this shot: great color contrasts. I wish that it had been cropped so that less sky was showing. Perhaps you could have adjusted where you were standing, to get a different angle, maybe looking down a bit more. There's a lot of potential in this shot, and it might be worth going out to the site again and taking a lot more shots.

Exquisite chiaroscuro isn't "painting with light", as such, even though it is. Lots of really nice photos in this got low marks from me, as I didn't think that they were on the topic. But this is still a really nice photo :-)
