redtail eating ws.jpgby MacDonaldComment: I agree, how much is this cropped? I would think that at ISO 100 you shouldn't need to run any noise reduction. Its a great shot and I'd like to see it without noise reduction because I can see the noise reduction at work. If the background does need it perhaps you could just run it on the background? I would do a background selection using color range and then just run it on that. |

Cuttlefish Coupleby in2truthComment: This is really nice. Its very sharp. Underwater photography is something I would like to eventually be able to do. The underwater housings are expensive though! Did you use flash? It appears to me that you did. |

Red Spotted Purpleby MaryOComment: This is a beautiful butterfly that I haven't seen myself. I agree with others on the crop/getting closer, but I understand that we have to take these shots when given the opportunity so its not always possible :) |

Green iguanaby TammsterComment: Hi Tammy. I don't mind the DOF at all because the eye is sharp, so it draws the attention. I don't know if this is full frame or cropped, but his fingers are cut off a little bit. If it was a crop I would like to see a little more room in front of him, you could place his eye on the top left third. As is I think the composition is good because you avoided placing him in the center of the frame. |

2 - Seagull & Fishby ErikVComment: This is an excellent motion blur. I like how you can still make out detail on his face. I don't know if you had the room, but I'd like to see a little more room in front of him for him to fly into. |

Aerial Balletby pmichaudComment: This is a very unique shot. I love the colors and how they are reflecting off the cranes. My one nitpick would be that I loose the front cranes head in the rear cranes wing. |

Catch of the Dayby stargazer05766Comment: Great shot. I think he got some seaweed too. You've captured wonderful colors and I love the fast shutter speed to freeze the action. It seems a little overly contrasty to me. |
