 Shot this about mid-afternoon on a neighbour's front porch. They came home to find me standing there, on their front lawn, shooting LOL. A little hard to explain why I'm trespassing but, thankfully, they are good neighbours. :)

Converted from RAW with slight exposure adjustment and sharpened
Contrast adjustment, sharpen, brighten, crop in Photoshop 7, noise removal in Noiseware. Pretty basic editing and pretty much as was out of the camera.

Besides the cuteness of the bird, what really makes this shot so nice is the b/g accents the color in the bird. Nice catchlight in it's eye too!
