Born with 7 golden spoonsby tinkie2010Comment: Reflective objects are a real nightmare to light and unfortunately here the two big softboxes have left rather distracting highlights in the spoon bowls whilst the delicate detail in the handles has been lost in places. Maybe going the whole way to either a light tent or right back to a point light source would help. |

Sevenby chipucComment: Nice crisp pattern shot with the leaves symmetrical and backlit for interest. A little more depth of field required to prevent the bottom leaf drifting out of focus. |

Somewhere over the rainbow...by JopsyDaisyComment: Nice clean and simple layout, perhaps the pencils could have a little more punch on the colours? A pattern shot can normally take stronger colours than other types of shot without looking overblown. |

Seven by Sevenby tvsometimeComment: I find this take on '7' appealing. A warehouse style window fits with the downtown scene and the crane cutting the top right adds interest and there's a nice balance to the shot. |

Only One is Filled by KarenNfldComment: Well done on finding a slightly different angle with the wine glasses. Score bumped accordingly. |

Down at the Marinaby BrianRComment: I can't help but feel this is a shot of 9 (possibly 10) posts and you've really stretched things in post processing with the pink and contrast reduction on the right. If you had had the opportunity to recompose the shot then that would have given you a better starting point. |

19th Century Gablesby rayg544Comment: Interesting architecture, but shooting it from the shadow side with a bright sky is always going to cause problems (I accept that the sun may not come around to this side of the building at this time of year - that would indicate that unfortunately getting better lighting on this shot just isn't possible at the moment). There is also a strong white halo around the building which is a bit distracting, possibly from local contrast enhancement being applied a little too strongly?
Hope this shot does OK for you. |

Suleymaniye Mosqueby enesozComment: Stunning building and nicely handled exposure. Curious to know why you left the image tilted anticlockwise with so many strong vertical and horizontal elements present. |

The domeby dvergurComment: Nice to see a simple, highish key pattern shot in this challenge. Nice diffuse lighting has removed any distracting shadows and left a gentle feel to the shot. Great work. |
