I enjoy the shapes created, I just would have liked the details on the lower portion to be as sharp as the upper half |

Nice crisp pattern shot with the leaves symmetrical and backlit for interest. A little more depth of field required to prevent the bottom leaf drifting out of focus. |

Quite a striking image especially because of it's simplicity. Nice back lighting.

It looks like you used a real shallow depth of field to blur out the bckground, but it served to shorten up your focal length for the plane of focus your subject was on causing the bottom leaf to be oof as well. It was a good use of selective focus, but I'd like to see that one plane of focus be all in focus. |
