I rated this one high because of the emotions and intense look of your subject. I don't like the color and hue of the photo, it looks like the white balance was not set correctly. Was this a candid photo or did she agree to have her photo taken?

Followed up on this photo, based upon your request in the forum. This is a very creative, artistic and unique photo. Those who have already commented on this photo, give you their honest opinion, and the reason why it didn't rate higher in DPC. There is a "look" that rates high in DPC, and this was not that look, but it is an amazing photo.

I would recommend you find a photo club in your area. You are talented, and could benefit from critique and feedback outside of DPC.

I loved the photo, but think the photo could have more meaning if title should reflect something about the woman in the photo.

I am amazed at the comments about this photo being sexiest. I showed this to my wife, and she agreed with me. The emphases of the photo is not body or the face, but the lines and curves. The womans body and face were there to provide the curves to the lines. If I was shooting this photo, my first instinct (and would not have been anywhere near as interesting as this photo) would be to have a deep DOF so it would be all in focus.

One of the reasons I view the photos in DPC is to learn from others. This was a great lesson in creativity.
