KaLeiDoSCoPeby timfythetooComment: You've brough out some intriguing colours here. And well framed, too; I like the use of space on the left.
I would have been tempted to try framing the combustion point on the sparkler a little lower - the stem of the sparkler looks a bit incongruous. Not sure if doing so would have made it any better though, I'd have to try and see. |

Fireworks of nature by eliniasComment: Nice.
It's a shame that the top of the firework's starburst is clipped off at the top. but apart from that it's well composed. Love the whisp of green smoke, and the way the stars are still visible. |

Fire Works Magicby xianartComment: A completely different take on "fire works". Imaginative.
The overall effect works well. I am distracted, though, by whatever it is intruding in silhouette on the left side of the ember. And by the hard lower edge of the whisp of smoke off to the right. But that's me being picky - still a pleasing overall effect. |

The Last Hurrahby elsapoComment: Stunning. Loving the peak of clear sky and stars, and the texture and lighting of the clouds. The contrast of the orange glow with the dark blues of the sky is quite hypnotic.
A shame about the pink-ish streak across the clouds. Would have been a 10 if not for that. But oh so close... |

Wishesby GueDesignsComment: Perfectly composed. Love the lens flare on each star-bust, and the use of mono.
There's a noticeable "lean in" on the castle, though; which I would have tried to fix. And maybe just a bit of USM on the castle.
Nice shot, though. |

Sparklerby Jaded_HousewifeComment: This is terrific. The blue of the residue on the sparkler is perfectly exposed, which would be no mean feat photographing a burning sparkler!
And the spectrum of colours from the burn - white, yellow, orange, red. Perfect. The narrow-ish DOF creates a definite impression of the sparks coming towards the viewer, too. |

The Day After - Spent and forgottenby MelethiaComment: An interesting take on the subject. Well executed too; I like the way you have included the ridge of the kerb to provide context.
The narrow DOF looks a little like it was post-processed in... |
