Thanks for the votes! I, too, had hoped it would do a little better but I am happy it did as well as it did. To those of you who were worried about the possibility of setting the woods on fire, it had just finished raining for most of the day and the leaf mold on the ground was soaked. Not much chance of a fire! Thanks for your comments, I have a lot to think about and to try next time! ~Sharon

Wonderful photo. The trail of sparkling light works extremely well. Tied as my favorite in the challenge. Simple idea, highly rated.

I love these kind of shots. Maybe the effect could have been a little more interesting if the sparkler holder weaved through the trees in a different direction (like from your position to straight ahead weaving around) to create a stronger sense of depth to take advantage of all those trees :]

I like the idea and the sky, just think there is something missing, like a more difinitive pattern of the light or a figure standing there or something but keep it up and experiment more, this is promising :)

Technically interesting but not pleasing to me as a composition.

Was going to say "very unusual" then noticed the advanced editing...now I think it´s "very artistic" I like it!

Good idea to play with but this image lacks something to make it very special. Maybe aiming the camera a little higher would have helped. Happy new year and good luck! 5 from me.
