Devoured by knowledgeby pepitoidComment: There are several shots like this in this challenge. But the lighting in this one is exceptionally well done. I love it. |

Expectingby The Resplendent SnippycatComment: Very evocative. Nice use of darkness. Just the right amount of light on the face.
Man, that train needs some soap & water, eh... |

silhouetteby zheka78Comment: There's a nice idea lurking in here. It just needs something a little more interesting happening in the reflection. And some of the dirt dusted off the lens... |

Orbs - reduxby Tom_RobbrechtComment: Nice concept. Great use of colour and reflection. And I think the positioning of the "horizon" behind the balls is just right.
My initial reaction was to think of cropping it more tightly. But on reflection (if you'll excuse the pun) I think not. Maybe just re-crop with the balls slightly further to the right. |

Glass on Skyby SavannahComment: Nice use of repeating symmetry. Much more effective for having been rotated.
A pleasing contrast between the blue in the glass and that of the sky, too. |

Glass Floatby red_geckoComment: Nice framing and use of colour. But these glass balls are always annoyingly scruffy for this kind of shot, don't you find? |

Eco by TechoComment: Nicely executed. It does leave me feeling a bit greened-out after a while, though. Maybe just one other colour? Aven a slightly different shade of green would do... :-) |

Sunset Indulgence by StrikeslipComment: I'm really gonna have to get me one of those aquarium things...
Great concept, well executed. I love the use of colour, and the reflection in both the glass and the water surface. Lighting is masterful - I think the lower lighting on the fingers works well.
This is just the sort of "ideas" shot that I love finding on this site. |

Spinning in the Fires of Hellby landcameraComment: There are a few glass-furnace shots in this challenge. Which is fine; they offer the chance to capture some powerful colours and contrasts, it's smart to go and find them for a challenge like this.
My initial reaction to this was to suggest a broader aspect ratio, with some more elements introduced to the right to lead us to the furnace. But the more I look at it, the more I think you've got it right as it is. My eye is taken from the top of the composition to the bottom, courtesy of the slightly ajar furnace door. I like it. |
