Great job from the 'Great Job Baggie'! I went back in and adjusted my vote higher for this after taking a second look. Started you with a 7, gonna up it to a 9, this really is a gorgeous shot, very lofty and minimal use of color is beautiful.

This is very nice. Usually, I find something with so much background to be a bit distracting to the eye, making the eye search the photo for all of the interesting detail. However, I think that the distance of the treeline, and the softness in the clouds being reflected do not harm the overall sense of quietness in this photo, as they might in other photos of this type. Great job from the 'Great Job Baggie'!

Hmmm... how to vote this one. Difficult. Although I don't feel too much of a sense of quiet or peacefullness, it seems as though it is broken up by the splash look of the water. It is a work of duality, the hardness of the surface, and the softer, melting ice. The color is gorgeous. Great job from the "Great job Baggie"...

Although some photos that try for zen using an asian theme don't always pull it off well, this one does. The very minimal use of color (or lack thereof), the minimal subject matter and blank background definately work here. Great job from the 'Great Job Baggie'!

This is an immensly beautiful photo, would be gorgeous on a dining room or kitchen wall. However, I think there is just too much here for it to be totally at peace. I think that you've just place a few too many elements in this, or the pattern is too busy on the black and white plate. Not really sure which is making it too busy to create that air of peace and serenity, but my eye is not sensing it. Voting it higher than I want to for a zen shot, because it is so beautiful.
