Great shot, JPR! I loved the colors and shapes - should've gotten a higher placement, if you ask me (which of course you didn't, but I'm telling you anyway, for your amusement :-)

I think this is a clever shot, to be in the right place, at the right time.....

This is wonderful. Love the "tracks" leading up to the bird.

there are many elements i love about this; the bold red colours are the first obvious attraction, and then so is the geometry and composition of the shot. it does feel a bit zen to me too; the slightly oriental feel is apparent (maybe it's the communist red and the abstractedness of lines?). i can't decide if the biord actually improves or detracts from the shot, though. still, a grand picture. 9.

A gorgeous use of minimal color in this one! Perfectly meets the challenge, one of my faves. Great job from the 'Great Job Baggie'!

Hey. This is pretty cool. Has an abstract feel to it with the geometric lines. I'll bet you were pretty excited to see this develop?! ;^) As for Zen...who knows? Good luck.

I love the vivid colours and abstractness. It's almost like a graphic novel design or something. 9

Great Photo, but I am not sure that it is Zen, but that will not change my vote.

This is an interesting photo and one that would have done better (by me) in a different challenge. Those black dots on the surface of the metal object could have been lined up if shot from a different angle. I don't think the bird makes or breaks the shot so if it was lost in the process, no big deal. Red is not really a calming color, but here I don't think it is too bad. The shapes are pleasing and the internal shape created by the intersection of the objects is nice. Line the dots up and you acheived balance. Harmony? Serenity? I'm not sensing that here. Like I said, a really nice photo but something that might have found a better home in a different challenge. 5.

The practical side of me says it's a reflection in an iron ;-) But whatever it is, I like it.

Very cool, not that I see the Zen here, but you do, so that is good enough for me.

This is very artfully captured. Great eye for detail. I like how the rivots line up with the bird. Nicely balanced and that touch of red is GREAT. 8

I find this image very pleasing, but to my eye, the red and black combination just doesn't convey the idea of silence.

I think this might go pretty far. Nice job.
