Whiskedby FreebieComment: The viewpoint of the camera has made a fairly boring scene into someghing I find interesting. Well done. |

Which came first?by tcherringComment: I love this photograph even though I can't quite figure out how it has been taken. The lad has got a lovely expression on his face which almost makes the photograph as far as I am concerned. Very nice. |

The Gateby NatashaComment: I thought that this photograph was great. I like the lighting. Having the ceiling so dark provides a very strong line that leads the eye into the image. The columns to the left add a great perspective to the shot and the shadow of the columns falling across the scene break up an otherwise dull part of the photograph. The depth of field is good too. If it was too narrow it would have spoiled the shot. Great. |

SEVENby GotchyaComment: I loved this photograph. The line just led the eye through the whole of the image. The colours make a good contrast to the image and I love the seagull at the front standing up. He looks like the leader of the whole pack. Great shot. |

flag on brooklyn bridgeby tomzinhoComment: This is a good idea with the line of the bridge leading to the flag, however there is a lot of stuff that seems to be competing with that line and it tends to make the image a little confusing to look at. The line caused by the pavement and the people walking along that pavement for instance. A good idea though. |

Rowsby robbiehComment: Some may argue that the image is a bit of a cliche, but I really love this shot. The eye really knows where it is going and after the eye is led into the photograph there is a lot of stuff to keep it interested; the buildings and then the hills in the background. I also liked the very straight horizontal line of the edge of the field which was placed in a good compositional position. I also liked the contrast between the deep green of the field and the light blue sky. Very nice photograph. |

"Taking Aim"by GolferDDSComment: I think it was a good idea and I thought having the shadow of the cue on the table was a plus. However, the orange ball in the bottom left-hand corner of the shot seemed to be working agains the idea of the line of the cue leading the eye into the shot. It might have been better placed further into the frame. |

Childhood Friendsby OneSweetSinComment: A simple and effective composition. The colour seemed a good addition to the shot. I was wondering if the photograph would be improved by having everything in sharp focus. I didn't think that the chosen depth of field helped in any way. Good idea though. |

Mirror Imageby WILDBLUEComment: It seemed a nice idea to have the line of the boat reflected in the car bodywork. I thought the side mirror was working against the overall effect of the image though and this frustrated me a little. A good idea though. |
