afternoon zenby tannahComment: I like the way you've used the vegetation to frame the shot. I probably would have cropped it different, however, and chopped off the top section until just below the blown sun area. The eye tends to go to the brightest area of an image and since that area is pure white with no detail then it is taking away from the rest of the image and also stealing some of the tranquility of it. That way you also adjust the horizon line to not be near the half of the image, and the focus shifts back to the two contrails and the wake of the bird. |

Feathers in the Breezeby noranekoComment: Good composition, although maybe a tad tight on the left. Only problem is the blown highlights on the back and head of the egret. |

Christmas Innocenceby sammigurlComment: The composition and light is good but the image looks soft. Even if you were going for the soft focus look there isnt really anything of him in focus so it just looks OOF. That doesnt stop it from being a good christmas memory, tho! |

Not Just for Christmasby MatthewComment: Good focus on the nose. The bigger head than body perspective is cute and reminds me of that range of products with the similiar look. Unfortunately the yellowing around the body is offputting. It looks like you had a bad white balance and painted around the empty spaces with white, but didnt get close enough to the body. Unless you painted out an entire room you can still get the isolated look with colors other than white, and you dont have to worry about white balance nearly as much to get the 'pure' color. |

Martian Winterby esdarbyComment: Seems a little soft and it feels like it's lacking anything dynmatic. The horizon is in the middle of the shot, although there does seem to be some symmetry with the reflected tree, but it all feels boxy. It feels like there needs to be another element to grab the attention. |

Anoleby JOHNBOY1970Comment: The colors and light seem really off on this. Almost like you did a curves adjustment to dull the highlights and it just flattened out the whole image. With everything in focus it makes the image seem very busy. You could get away with saying it's camoflage, but it just doesnt really work. It also looks very soft. The crop boxes him into the center of the image and makes it feel a little claustrophobic (sp?) too. |
