It is an aswome picture, almost sureal. The shally DOF is deffinently a plus side of the image, focusing on the important part of the image. The only bad thing I can think of with a decomposing subject is, that you were too late and the image needed to be captured when the focus on the uglyness was more clear.

Define gothic for me please, seriously though, I know this will be underrated, they will say "it looks like a game". All that matters is you took a good photography. It is past 2:00 am where I come from as well, and I and quite the drunk. lol, it has taken me 5 minutes to write this comment. Good sense of contrast, texture, caputure. Not much in the way of depth though, 8.

If this does not get into the top ten, voters must be insane. Awsome angle and overwhelming view of this building. This totally consumes me.

;This is deffinently a cliche, on the basis of your comment. The photo is awsome, the rustic feel of the girl in all her glory (make-up) is a reflection of what the title suggests. This is clearly a well thought out title and subject, while the blotches and the border add to the drama that prevokes. Well done, to bad it was disqualified.

Cool photo. Really captures the emotion of some one rememberring something from the past, but I need to say that it would've helped if there were somthing in the photo as well; maybe reading a 'glamour' magazine or something might've gave it that extra boost. I have only been a member here for a short while, but I have figured out that your average glance and click voter would only rate this low because of the tendancy not to look into an images sublime. The noise in this photo doesn't help it much, and I wouldn't have sharpened it either, a bit of blur would've helped this image.

Good shot, I personally would've moved the hand slightly off centre though.
