Again the catholic church in Nottuln. This is shot straight up at the ceiling with the organ pipes included. I thought I'd give it another shot seeing it did so well for me last time. This church was built in 1493.

Thanks for all your comments and votes. This will most likely be my last challenge entry until the next round of the WPL starts in July.

The priest must think you've got religion. I can see why you'd keep going back to this church as subject though.

Is there a lot of PP to get the lighting/patina effect? I notice it is present in your other shot of the church - well lit, maybe.

Lovely shot anyway. Ah, fickle voters...

I am shocked that this didn't come in top 10! Some one somewhere didn't "see" this one! You were robbed, I tell ya, ROBBED!

I really like the perspective in this one, it's strange how the shot seems 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional at the same time, almost like one of those optical illusions. I'm surprised this didn't fair better then 27th.

If this does not get into the top ten, voters must be insane. Awsome angle and overwhelming view of this building. This totally consumes me.

First off the image is great. The Colors and detail that you captures is spectacular. I think I would have liked it better had I just seen the columns and the ceiling. The wood balcony, organ, ? though beautiful I feel distracts from the fastidious nature of the columns and relief work on the ceilings.

Great shot (8) it would have been a 9 or maybe 10 if the shot had been rotated anti-clockwise 90 degrees - just personal choice:-)

I love the colors but the subject is a little uninteresting. You could maybe shot wider.
