April by gyabanComment: This looks almost like a root. Either way it's pointing magnificently toward its' life sustaining energy source sunlight. Good to include its' huge "knuckles" and "feet".
I love trees, too. And other things. My surname name translated from Hungarian means "From the edge of the forest". "Erdo" = forest and "végi" = from the edge of. One of my early shootings was a 200 year old oak tree. Like the name, since I was born in April. Message edited by author 2011-08-09 13:32:31. |

Fishnet sideby tjmuellerComment: Great S-curve. All the iluminated stair-noses seem like arows, pointing toward the model. And the straight lines also bring out and compliment the curves. I dissagree wtih saintaugust, but the steps could be straightened more horizontally. Leaning, makes them look like submarine/boat steps. |

Hazeby tjmuellerComment: Nice low light mood. Reminds me of bondage style pics. You catch mermaids with fishnet. |

cameras 101by briantammyComment: Go, Minoltas! I've got a Minolta XD11, with 3 lenses etc. Was my "Film" camera when I was 24. Did shots in Europe and all over, then. I just bought a roll of "Film" for my mothers 35mm Nikon automatic camera fo my mother. (I bought one roll for myself, too)
I may shoot a "Roll" with all my new knowledge. I'll still hate the inability to download and edit faster. I haven't shot "Film" for at least 20 years.
Some of the younger, new generation of Photographers are "Dicovering" and "Experimenting" wit film. See "Nick Onken" or "Chase Jarvis" for examples. |

the lighthouse by tateComment: Congratulations on the BLUE ribbon. I got a few interesting Stills and Video clips during our shoot time. I haven't entered any contests, yet, trying to copyright, then sell them. It's now a necessity for me. "Mister E Photography".
I'm not sorry I invited you for this photoshoot even with your hurt eye. He got poked in the eye by a tree, just about 2 days before. |
