Drying The Umbrellaby JeniYComment: Its almost as if the umbrella tells a story. I normally find the desaturating of everything but the subject a little cliche, but it works so well for me in this photo! Makes me wonder what kind of experience made this umbrella so colorful on a rainy day. 7 |

sign of lifeby tateComment: I like the shot, but something bothers me about the composition a little bit. I think that the feather may be a bit too predominant, causing distraction. Perhaps you could have taken the photo from a little farther back, or with the feather in a less obvious position (like laying on the ground). Again, i like the feel of the photo! |

Not Good Enoughby xXxscarletxXxComment: I definitely like the shot and the style you are using here. The only thing that i find somewhat distracting in this photo, is that the face may have been over done in post processing. Im pretty new to all this myself, but my guess is too much burning? Also, the outline of the jeans and the arm against the black background (shirt) jump out. Other than that, this is an amazing photo. Keep up the good work, and yeah.. I like your style here! |

1400°C by gaurawaComment: I love how close you cropped/shot this one. Definitely deserves a ribbon. I like how you went with only warm colors for the challenge (e.g. instead of using blue smoke). WOW. |

Bringin' the Heat by jenesisComment: Amazing fire picture. Definitely true to the challenge. I think i would prefer a bit of a tighter crop, but damn is this a great photo! Congrats on the ribbon! |

Failure to Keep by arnitComment: Hey arnit, awesome photo. The only thing that bothers me is the crop, cause its a kinda strange size. Other than that, the frozen action is amazing! Congrats on yet another ribbon

Music soothes the savage beastby Elvis_LComment: I love the crop here. It really takes the focus to the closed eyes and the headphones. By leaving out the mouth you seem to emphasize how "music soothes the savage beast" because there can be no speech, just listening. I like it! |

solitudeby riderComment: I would try a different composition on this one. Zooming out would have worked well, especially if you keep in mind the rule of thirds.Having this lonely looking house sitting in a vast empty landscape would really emphasize what you are going for. The photo could also do with some sharpening and white balance adjustment. Great subject though! |

Barbarian by kiwinessComment: 300 for third... shoulda done 900! :) Great photo. The softbox lighting angle seems to work really well here. Gives it that gritty feel. Congrats! |
