Wonderful expression and detail! Too bad the glass caused you to get a little off focus. I personally can't get over the intense look in his eyes! In fact, the eyes are almost beautiful enough on their own! Depending on how large the original is, you should maybe try to crop a close-up of his eye with some spots around it.

Salisbury Cathedral

To me this shot is beggin for a portrait orientation as opposed to landscape. I catch myself looking at the ceiling then trying to tilt my head down lower trying to see more of it. Hopefully I will be visiting Salisbury Catedral within a couple months and will be able to see if it is worthy of a portrait orientation. Still worth an 8 for the details and perfect exposure.
