Congratulations, I think you'll win the Brown Ribbon with this. One of the things you might like to study up on is how to adjust the compression of a JPEG file so that you can make the longest side of your image 640pixels and still be under the 150 maqximum file size. At 240x180 pixels any image is just too small to be viewed

A Glass of Wine with a Bottle to Go

Have studied this for a bit and have come to think that the bottle without the glass would have been stronger. The glas has blown out on the left and taken over your image whereas the bottle has some stunning features in the frosting and the green glow where the shape has focussed the light

I really like the effect of this and am additionally attracted to it because you've made your light source visible and a feature of the shot. The bamboo's shadows on the wall work against it a bit. I wonder if cloning out the shadows would have constituted removal of a major element?

Good craft. It's an image that looks like it has needed multiple light sources to create but I'm pretty sure you managed to stay true to the challenge.

This works ... and then it doesn't. The glow and the interesting shape attract but then it feels all left alone and out of context.
