If you consider sunlight/daylight as normal and everything else as other, then this was other. I just wanted to share this. The lesson to me was all the small trails of discharge that can get you. Thanks for the comments and scoring.

Hey this DOES NOT MEET THE CHALLENGE! This is a "natural" light source!!!!

....just kidding...Good shot of the storm. Looks like maybe a little camera shake noted by the slight blur on the bottom right object near the big bolt.

Also...the red on the bottom left draws the eye away from the lighting show.

A very nice image, but it seems to be missing the artificial light source called for in the challenge. I also believe you might have considered cropping out the sunset at the left as it draws one attention away from that fabulous lightning flash you captured.

a.w.e.s.o.m.e! amazing shot man, mad kudos points on this one, i would give this a 9 because i don't give out 10's, but that tree that looks like a roaring dinosaur will put you up to a ten. congrats man, great shot, and look forward to more. btw, i love lightning shots
