Great submission! This meets the challenge perfectly. Just by looking at the picture, I can see that for you, darkness means a chance to go out on the water (fishing or whatever), & with the lights in the background & the detail on the boat you've captured a great scene.

I'm with the group who think that the photograph should be the work of art (not the photograph & the title), so I first examine each photo to see what beauty or creativity it contains, then I glance at the title, almost as an afterthought, to see if I missed anything. I like your photo (& I think the frame really enhances it) but if you had used (or placed) elements in the photo to emphasize the weapons, I think it would have improved it a great deal.

I guess it was a windy day. A slow shutter speed to show the movement of the branches would have helped me to appreciate this picture more...

What a great idea - a real twist on the construction theme! My mind's need for symmetry keeps me thinking that the woman's left hand should be visible as well, but I'm working to get over that! A really well done photo! 8
