 Okay, so the backhoe actually was being used, not really still at all! The construction workers, I could tell, were really wondering why I would be taking pictures of them. Can't say I find their equipment very inspiring, but here's my attempt at creating something artful with construction.

Cool! It looks like a study in primary and secondary colours for an art class! Love the blue, yellow and green standing out.

i would have taken out the pipes and focussed more on the machine, that way it would tell more of the story of what the picture is about. It wouldn't be so hard to figure out what the subject or concept is.

This is nice. There's something about close-ups of large items like this that appeal to me. I love all the textures in this image, as well as the colors. It's a nice composition, and shoud do well in this challenge. <8>

unless we work on a construction site, we have to take things as we find them. With that in mind, this is a good find.

I can't decide what to focus on in this photo and for me that detracts from it a bit. The colors are great, although the green in the upper left is a little distracting, mostly because I can't figure out what I'm seeing.

I have studied this image for a bit and think if you omided the blue pipes you would have a stronger photo.
