Branching Outby m2iwComment: wow. Didn't expect to see so much motion in any of the branch photos. |

Highlighted textureby edmengComment: The border is very distracting to me. Doesn't feel like it adds more to the photo but instead detracts from it. |

Peacock "branches"by lifeComment: Interesting. I'm wondering why you decided to go B/W with a peacock.(To better show the "branching" ?) It sort of like that as it's unexpected with a peacock. Good amount of detail in the feathers.
Bottom middle/right feathers jutting up slightly jarring from the over all feel/flow.
And I'm not sure I like how very large the border is. A border works well with this. That one just seems just a little big.

Home Sweet Homeby gg_139Comment: It's easy to see it's stuffed. And you just placed it in the tree. :)

Tribute... Part Deuxby LeeDComment: Well other then the streetlamp pointing the wrong way. And no light any where near the crane. As well as no striped roof... and the framing where is the framing ? The photo also clearly doesn't have enough noise in it. And is also just nearly as crappy as the original. :( |

Zipteaseby scalvertComment: I love it. Soo very... Intriguing. I have literally been sitting here for the last 5 minutes just pondering over this photo.
Once the challenge is over you simply must tell us how you did this. I have a few thoughts on how it was done. But please enlighten us. |

Red for Prosperityby davidus428Comment: I rather liked this photo when I came across it in the voting. I think for the most part the culture reference was one that some might have not quite gotten.
As for that edit version. I'm fairly sure the flare would have DQed. BUT I personally like the smoothed out look of her face from that Smart Blur. A few fine tuning adjustments on this could have easy brought in a ribbon. |
