Great concept for a title. I do not like how there isn't a focus on the people who are alone together, not many will assume that the title has to do with the whole section of the subway full of people.
The photo is way to busy, the focus is all over the place, but my eye is mostly drawn to the man with the hat, which makes for the interesting concept of him being in his own place all by himself. The photo is a bit boring and looks like a point and shoot situation. It's a bit pasty, and if you don't already, I would suggest editing your pic BEFORE resizing it. Overall not a very good shot though.

I really do love this. Amazing use of reflections here, really gives a great allusion, nice use of black and white as well. A bit grainy but it makes for a very interesting shot

Sweet Sorrow

I like the simplicity. The face is composed nicely, has the right expression the photo needs, I enjoy how subtle it is. Without the title though, it doesn't really relate. I don't know what those nuts (assuming they are nuts) are, and I'm not sure whether they are sweet or not. The background needs to be cleaned up a bit, there are little black specks all over, and I would have used a surface without any texture or detail on it, just a flat white surface. Overall, its ok i guess. :p :-)

Great photo. I think just having the white around the border would be sufficient. The title and oxymoron make me laugh, reminds me of Calvin and Hobbes. I like this :-)

Great Title. Makes for a good oxymoron. However, I really don't see it in your photo. It's lacking in clarity and isn't really interesting. Composition seems good, and he has a cute smile. but the photo doesn't do it for me.

a Very stunning and beautiful macro. The focus seems to be on his pincers whereas being on it's head would be much nicer. I don't understand the white line to the left of the shot. The composition is interesting and I like it. In a weird way this is very nicely balanced. I like the oxymoron in the title, I can see how it would relate to the image but it would have been nicer if there were something like two mantis' one grooming like this one, and the other with a fly. so ill give you 2.5/5 for relating to the challenge.

This is absolutley terrific, the depth of field is very amazing.
It's almost abstract, yet identifiable. The cool colors do a very good job of giving me an impression of the morning. The blurred circles in the background remind me of morning dew. Great!

that background really is amazing!!! Gas masks are always cool!

Im not sure if some of the red smoke type stuff moving over the model would help the background seem more three dimensional, or ruin how nicely the model pops out.
