I'm looking past the bird to the beautiful background colors! Bird is too dark. Either go more sillouette-ish or lighten to get some details. But nice shot altogether.

All That Glitters...

I liked this one. It made me laugh because my wife does stamping and scrapbooking, so glitter everywhere is part of my life. I thought, "Oh man, she's gonna have a mess to clean up!" Glad you had fun shooting it.

I like the blurry glitter in the air, as it makes for a nice captured action shot. The lips were in the perfect place and deliver their message immediately. The crop was perfect as well.

I don't think the selective desaturation does anything fo this shot personally. I think it actually detracts (within the framework of the challenge) as it sucks your attention away from the metal. Most certaily the metal is the main subject, yet I can't really look at it because the sign and flag keep distracting me.

This shot would have been helped with some flash fill on the under side to brighten up the colors. Maybe a boost in saturation in PS as well. Great idea and composition though.
