The tonal value seems a bit off.

The whites are not there yet, and the blacks are a bit deep.

However, this is a great example of story telling.

I liked this image on the other site, and I like it here as well.

The only critique I would have is the blacks are too deep, but it doesn't bother me. The tonal value of the skin tones was my first impression.

Very well crafted basic b/w portrait.

What is preventing me from giving you a higher score on this image is that it is not tack sharp for me.

I would of wanted the mountain to have that extra bit of detail from being sharp.

The grunge look on this image does it all to get my attention.

The cropping off the bottom of the dish actually works giving more mystery to your image.

Interesting lighting, and any dodging and burning you did.
