I'm amazed that this didn't do better. I had you pegged for the blue. It's just an amazing photo and really, really well done. I disagree about the tighter crop suggestion. I'd love to see this picture hanging on my wall over a wide piece of furniture like a couch or a bed. It's just awesome.

Nice shot, though I do think a tighter crop may have been better.
For all who are interested the cloud is a lenticular cloud. They are a sign of high winds and bad weather on the mountain. I climbed Rainier a couple years ago and it is a fantastic place. You could spend your whole life photographing the park.

The cloud above the mountain almost makes it look like a halo. Very interesting image. What a great view :o) |

What an interesting looking cloud. Is that common over mountains? Perhaps a little more contrast would be good, though that may have killed some detail. |

Wonderful capture of the cloud cover. I really like the conversion and the light. Possibly top 5 :) |

Very interesting cloud formation. I think it would look more impressive cropped in more to make the mountain and cloud larger. |

What is preventing me from giving you a higher score on this image is that it is not tack sharp for me.
I would of wanted the mountain to have that extra bit of detail from being sharp.
Good tonal values. |

You were lucky to catch such cloud. I would crop it a bit to bring the mountain closer, but nevertheless I like this composition very much. |

Interesting landscape pic! I like the halo cloud and the way the mountain seems alone. |
