Home on the Rangeby C_Steve_GComment: Ok, I know this is a matter of oppinion.....I don't like photos that use such frame demensions.....I thing the photographer helps him/her self by trying to produce images that resemble the same demensions that your camera and camera's finder see's,,,,framed images like this one always wanting to see more that is beyond the edges......That being said I will try to let my dislikes go by the way side. The envornment that surrounds these buildings are the most important element here, without the emtyness of its surrounding these building don't speak to me because I believe my point of view is to far away for me to allow them to speak to me.
I like that you present a B&W image here, it simplifies things for me allowing me to get more involved. The simplicity of the image is its strengh........5 |

window to nowhereby slonkoComment: I am a sucker for images that are taken to the lowest common denominator. This one really excites me visually. I like the monochromatic elements here and the tiny details within. The little window may or my not work depending on what the viewer wants.....I would most likely spend more time at this wall to explore the other possiblities it has to offer. 6 |

Behind The Green Doorby sherComment: Viewing your image the question comes to mind as to how much color saturation is wanted or desirable? I love the colors of the building but perhaps the are a bit over done. I suggest that you would be the only one who truely knows the answer as you are the creator of this image..... The focus seems to be a bit extreme for my liking as well. I like the overall image because it has something to say to the viewer...or a million stories could be writen around this image..... |

Abandoned Messageby loveComment: I find this image's subject to be very interesting and worth the snap. Like the B&W handling of it as well. Camera postion in relation to the subject may make the image more powerful....6... |
