It seems that you live and shoot images in the heart of the "Old South" area of the country. The river area around Natchez is full of history and folklore. This image seems to capture a connection to those days with whispers of ghosts and hard living. I am enjoying your portfolio, as I have been to some of the places in your images years ago. |

I like the strong colors, but also notice some pixelation problems in the lines. Cool entry. Best of luck. |

This capture is loaded with unusual colors that really stand out in this challenge. I love the sliver of light showing through the back wall and the diagonal lines from the door hanging on one hinge is just perfect. Great detail in the wood and the gritty feel of this is just right without going too far. This is one of my eleven 10's in this challenge. Great work! |

I really like the colors and saturation. The croping looks quite nice and overall can't think of anything I'd change. |

This is all about shape and colour. The door hanging at an angle adds so much to the picture's impact. |

that looks like a lot of post processing! Not necessarily a bad thing.
The composition does not thrill me. The cut off window at the right is distracting. |

Wow. Love the richness of the color. Composition works for me. good focus, crop DOF, POV. Can't find anything wrong. 8 but will pass again after viewing all others. Bumping to 9. |

Viewing your image the question comes to mind as to how much color saturation is wanted or desirable? I love the colors of the building but perhaps the are a bit over done. I suggest that you would be the only one who truely knows the answer as you are the creator of this image..... The focus seems to be a bit extreme for my liking as well. I like the overall image because it has something to say to the viewer...or a million stories could be writen around this image..... |

Nice capture. The door makes the image exciting. I like the vibrant colours, but I think the amount of sharpening makes it a bit uneasy on the eyes. Good job. |
