It's not clear to me that of all the bridges to be found among the viols this is the most perfect one: it seems to be of very different vintage than the rest of the instrument and I find that distracting; I love the body of the instrument especially its worn details. And I like the ebony finger board (or whatever it is) but the bridge doesn't have the right 'patina.'

Even though it's a slender ribbon running acros the middle of the photo, the bridge succeeds in making the photo something. I'm a sucker for sunsets and water, so I love this shot.

Seems like the bridge does not quite make the impact that we'd like it to. The other elements are interesting but they seem to clutter the image. Goes double for those four floating heads.

I like the motion. I like the rusted beam and the protruding ties. Just about everything in the photo is ugly. If the theme were "America The Beautiful / America The Ugly" It would get plenty of points for content and meeting the theme. The brush detracts, so do the wires, tree, and structure.
