Perhaps it was a little too blunt.. People who think they rock tend to hate "stupid" messages.
I adore this, though. | Photographer found comment helpful. |

The viewer's attention to detail is emphasized, and the photo brings you into it, if that makes any sense. :) | Photographer found comment helpful. |

| 04/14/2008 07:35:42 PM | 8by RetroesqueComment: I love every last one of these photos, but this I love the most. The interest intrigues, and the DOP definitely adds even more interest. I am even more amazed by the background. Perhaps you added a slight filter, but it looks like you somehow put the... sac... onto a plastered wall or something.
I'd be amazed if you didn't still have this, ah, plant; I'm such a packrat, honestly. I still have something odd that looks like this. It smelled like onions when I picked it, and I picked it in the summertime. I think it may just be some parasite or something sharing a plant with the plant itself...
Uh, anyway, I love your photos. Do keep up the amazing work! | Photographer found comment helpful. |

The colors are amazing. I never would have thought of that. I'm a little iffy on the yellow, of course, but green and blue are two of my most favorite colors. Haha, guess my third, if you can.
I love it. Even the little 'shine' at the top right just looks like it belongs there. | Photographer found comment helpful. |

| 03/25/2008 07:32:51 PM | Night Fumes by HauxonComment: This meets the challenge for me because of a study I did a few years ago on light pollution, for a middle school science fair, admittedly, but a study nonetheless. Astronomers should be pretty familiar with the term. When you're traveling on the Interstate at night, and you see a sort of haze in the direction of a reasonably-sized city, you're seeing the effects of light pollution. :) | Photographer found comment helpful. |
| 03/14/2008 08:05:39 AM | Fork Scorpionby Prime_TimeComment: Coolest. Thing. Ever.
I like the photograph itself, too. The shadows don't make it seem like too perfect of a photo, and the colors are really appealing to me. I just have the slightest problem with the tip of the one fork at the bottom, but I can't crop my way out of a paper sack, so I don't see why I'm talking. :) That one fork, though, now that I look at it, doesn't look like it's bent. Like, the lighting on the handle looks like it is, but it looks 2-D, you know?
I've got to say this, though, in relation to tpbremer. "Forkpion" is the most outlandish-sounding thing I've heard anyone come up with, and that makes the comment hilarious to me. | Photographer found comment helpful. |
