 This little fellow and about a million of his friends are in my front yard defying my to mow them down. In order to stay true to my design (no going outside for April) I had to bring him inside. Sadly he did not survive the ordeal. But I got a nice, I hope, shot of him before the wilting began.

But I think I like tighter better.

Shot with el-cheapo the light box against a black velvet back-drop.

Honestly, I thought the rule of thirds photo was better, at first. However, after actually looking at it, I think I may like this better. The viewer's attention to detail is emphasized, and the photo brings you into it, if that makes any sense. :)

At least you're consistent with submitting...

I agree with the tighter crop. Beautiful colors and amazing detail! (uh... but where's the peep? Or Chuck?)
