Love this shot and the title really enhances it. Feel it met the challenge well. Could have done without the mom in the shot, but that's just my opinion.

Great shot, beautiful! Perfect crop. Meets the challenge! ("this basic shape is clearly shown as a key element"). Makes me feel melancholy and peace at the same time. The title does nothing for me, but fortunately the photo stands on it's own. I want to give this a 9 just because I am reluctant to call anything perfect, but I keep being drawn to it...so THAT deserves a 10. Good luck!

Here is how we rate a photo: to be a 9 it must meet the challenge ("this basic shape is clearly shown as a key element"), be a GREAT shot, and evoke emotion. A 10 does all that AND is an original idea. So....can clearly see the triangles (even without the title), it's a fantastic silhouette, and her stance is so powerful that you can almost read the expression on her face. I look at this and see obstinate pride, defensiveness, anger AND insercurity, sorrow and a begging for compromise - which makes the title speak even more to me. And it's the only photo like it in the challenge. 10! Good luck!

Love this! Gave it a 9 just because I felt it could have been a little sharper. You have to know what snooker is to get it, though, so I hope you don't lose any points due to others not having been "around the block." ;-)

9! Great shot, love the idea - especially the originality of it. A little sharper and it would have been a 10. Hope you didn't have to sacrifice some of the clarity just to post it on the website. I know that can happen and it SUCKS!

LOVED this shot! Gave it our only 10! Not only is it a great photo, but it also completely captured the feel of "LATE" night, as opposed to just "night." Which SO many entries did not. You should have placed higher, man. You were robbed! :-)

I really took time to rate this challenge. I eliminated all the way to one final shot. Congrats, this was my only 10. It was between the broken leg and your shot. What pushed me over the edge was that this was an advanced editing challenge and the other photo had no post editing. NICE JOB.
