You really got a raw deal on this shot. This shot is absolutely
supurb. The lighting and the smoke really add the live atmosphere effect to this. Great shot.

you have captured the lighting beautifully - i love shooting concert shots ... it's so much fun to catch the smoke and lights ... i also like the detail in the musician - great photo :)

Why the hell would people care so much if it is outdoors or not?! This is art, not heart surgery!
This is a really awsome, quality shot, and beautifully captures the mood of late night, and the technical difficulty of shooting a very low-light compostion. Much agreed with the previous two comments.

It's shots like this that makes me wonder how some people can give it a 1, 2 or 3, or even 4. I understand subjectivity, but I think people who gave shots like this (and I emphasize that phrasing) low scores perhaps need to get their subjectivity filter examined. Going on my favorites. Thanks.

LOVED this shot! Gave it our only 10! Not only is it a great photo, but it also completely captured the feel of "LATE" night, as opposed to just "night." Which SO many entries did not. You should have placed higher, man. You were robbed! :-)

The light beam and fog with this composition really work for me...have been working with pro audio company from Japan and this shot would be good for some of their marketing. Nice work

thumbnail looked great, and the full shot didn't disappoint. my only pick is at the second mike hanging on the left side, which I feel is unbalanced (compared to the blank darkness weighing down the right side) and is a bit of a distraction. 9

Cool shot! Love the captured atmosphere: the beam of light in combination with the smoke. The colors are very good too, and so is the image's overall quality. Very good job.
